Web browser hijacked to random *.ru domains

Obfuscated malicious JavaScript code on website pages redirects user to malicious domains in the *.ru area

Background

Online Website Malware Scanner has identified malicious JavaScript code injection in the scanned website. Such malicious obfuscated JavaScript code is used to build malicious iframe invisible to the website user and which downloads content from remote malware distributor.

This infected website hosts suspicious JavaScript code injected in index.html. Once visited this website homepage user browser is being redirected to the URL which is comprised from the random domain and the static part. The unchanged part of the URL appears to be runforestrun?sid=botnet2. Detected malicious payload resembles similar attack on websites hosted on PLESK based servers in May this year. The random nature of the URL succeeded to mask the malicious intent avoiding blacklisting by Google Safe Browsing and others.
